The Furrow Collective

A new collective bringing together four of Scotland and England’s finest folk musicians – Emily Portman, Alasdair Roberts, Rachel Newton and Lucy Farrell – whose outstanding musical skills are compelling both as solo artists and as part of a collective.

Brandishing a notable array of instruments including guitar, harp, viola, concertina, saw and banjo, the group deliver a selection of lesser to well-known ballads powered by their style of folklore inspired storytelling.
