To celebrate the launch of Riedel’s newest collection, the Veritas Series, 10th generation Master Glassmaker Georg Riedel will host a special tasting on Tuesday 30th September at Vinopolis in London. The tutored tasting will be the first ever comparative wine glass tasting to be held in the UK using the all new Riedel Veritas range, allowing participants to discover first-hand this revolutionary new range.

Further cementing Riedel’s position at the forefront of grape-specific glassware design, Veritas incorporates ground-breaking machine-made glass technology developed by Riedel’s Weiden factory team. The spectacular result is a glass with the look and feel of a mouth-blown piece, but with the advantage of a lower price – a new glass for the 21st century.

Commenting on his latest creation, Georg Riedel says; "Veritas combines the charm of a handmade glass with the consistent accuracy only a machine made glass can achieve."

The series includes glasses for Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Riesling and Viogner. For the first time in a Riedel collection there are two glasses for Syrah and for Pinot Noir – in each case for Old World and New World styles.

The tasting is a rare chance for new and existing customers to learn and interact with the 10th generation glassmaker himself, and discover how to enhance their drinking experience with the Veritas series.
