The Leytonstone Big Weekender returns with a weekend packed full of arts, culture and live entertainment.

Saturday 6 September

Saturday features a day of fun activities and entertainment at Cathall Green including an arts trail and arts and crafts workshops.

Fun activities include a ridgeline climbing wall, garden games, bungee trampoline, a revolving wall, crazy golf, trampolines, and much more.

Sunday 7 September

On Sunday we will be hosting the annual car-free day on Church Lane with a street party atmosphere and food market. Along with all the activities above there will be bouncy castles, ball pits, pedal karts and much more!

Full of activities, demonstrations and musical performances, Sunday's event is headlined by Geno Washington.

Originally from Evansville, Indiana USA Geno Washington was one of the most prominent figures on the 60s soul scene and had two of the biggest selling UK albums at that time, ‘Hand Clappin, Foot Stompin, Funky-Butt ... Live! and ‘Hipster Flipsters Finger Poppin’ Daddie’.

With a life-long love of Blues and R&B Geno has continued to perform R&B, Blues and Soul classics getting audiences on their feet from start to finish. Having earned a reputation as the
ultimate showman and with his electrifying stage presence, you can be sure of a footstomping live show at the Leytonstone Big Weekender!
