The Moomins in Covent Garden

The Moomins are coming to Covent Garden this weekend (9th & 10th August) to celebrate the 100th birthday of their beloved author, Tove Jansson.
The East Piazza will be taken over by all things Moomin with plenty of family friendly activities to celebrate the work of one of Finland's most well-known artists.

Philip ‘Beardy’ Ardagh, the award-winning author of the Eddie Dickens adventures, will be reading extracts from his favourite Moomin books.
Benny Törnroos, a Finnish entertainer who is most well-known for singing the Moomin theme song will be performing accompanied by Moomin costume characters.

There will also be Moomin themed face painting!
