The Wotever DIY Film Festival showcases lo-fi work from the LGBT community. Now in our third year, our mission remains the same – to showcase the best queer, DIY film and prove that you don’t need a million pounds to make a great film!
The 2014 programme is our most exciting yet, with a huge variety of films from all over the world. Covering topics as diverse as fat positivity, lesbian football players in South Africa, love after death and how to waltz whilst holding tomatoes between your fingers, there really is something for everyone.
Our programme comprises of shorts screenings, independent and difficult-to-find features and collaborations with activists, performers and artists including the Sex Worker Open University.
Our final, closing night gala is to be held at historic cabaret venue, The Royal Vauxhall Tavern.
The Cinema Museum is fully accessible.
