The Hemar Theatre has a great pleasure in announcing the opening of "The Misanthrope", the great comedy by Moliere, adapted by Wilburn, directed by Gigi Robarts, artistic design by Magdalena Rutkowska-Hunt. Produced by Maja Lewis and Magdalena Rutkowska Hunt in collaboration with Andrzej Blonski. After recent singing performance by Lady Gabriella Windsor at the historic room of the Polish Hearth theatre (now under Marian Hemar name), The Misanthrope will be the first ever play performed in English language on the Hemar Theatre stage.

Alceste 'The Misanthrope' is a man on a quest for truth and justice - he is madly in love with a woman who goes strongly against all his principles. The beautiful Celimene is queen of gossip, intrigue and flirtation. How will it work ? Is their relationship doomed ?
