Steve Howe

Stratford Circus is pleased to feature renowned guitar legend Steve Howe this September.

Steve Howe picked up the guitar over 50 years ago in the 1960’s ‘guitar boom’. Encouraged to listen to other styles of guitar technique, his unique style of playing has been influenced by rock, pop, blues, jazz, classical, folk and country artists including Wes Montgomery and Kenney Burrell, Big Bill Broonzy and Albert Lee.

While known for his work with progressive rock group Yes, Steve Howe has also released many highly acclaimed solo albums, more recently Motif and Travelling. Following a hugely successful tour in 2013, this September sees him return to the UK to play some of his more familiar pieces plus several new tunes. With a few stories and old favourites thrown in for good measure, it’s sure to be a good night!
