This international music collective returns to Wilton's for a lively and unforgettable performance

If you've ever witnessed The Turbans in action, you'll know that there are barely words to describe the experience but we're going to try, so here goes...

These extraordinarily talented, innovative and energetic musicians are gathered from countries such as Turkey, Bulgaria, Israel, Iran, Italy, Greece and England. They blend together all those indigenous styles to create original compositions with enormous contemporary energy but without losing reverence for their roots. The Turbans is not a band but an international musical collective, independently run by the musicians themselves and they perform in concerts and festivals around the UK, Turkey, India and Europe.

Going to a Turbans gig is like overdosing on pure joy. You'll dance until you drop. You'll grin from ear to ear until your face hurts. You'll leave exhausted with the sheer fun of it all. And you'll never forget it.
+ Support from Farafi

Farafi is a project based on musical fusion, weaving the colors of traditional African music together with contemporary folk music. Farafi is a nomadic entity which feeds from its travels. Darlini Singh Kaul & Joy Tyson are at the core of Farafi and create an eclectic collection of traditional, vintage and original songs. These two very skilled vocalists are in constant collaboration with a platform of fellow musicians which shapes a fresh and dynamic musical world.
