Human rights charity Freedom from Torture is pleased to announce the return of its flagship foodie fundraising event 'The Big Cook Up', where well-known chefs will work together to stand up and make a stir for survivors of torture.

This year's Big Cook Up will once again be curated by highly-acclaimed and award-winning chef Paul Merrett and his hand-picked selection of world class chefs, including Allegra McEvedy, BAFTA's Anton Manganaro, Sophie Michell, Henry Harris and chocolatier William Curley. The event will take place at the Divertimenti Cookery School in South Kensington on Wednesday 17 September at 7pm.

Paul and his fellow chefs will create the very best of food from around the world in front of your eyes from a menu specifically designed for this event. You will not only be able to sample their delicious dishes but you will also have the chance to get great cooking tips and close up cookery demonstrations from your favourite chefs and enjoy a selection of wines and cheese, all included in the ticket price.

The evening will culminate in a fast-paced live auction of much coveted prizes hosted by auctioneer Piers Boothman from Christie's.

All proceeds raised through ticket sales, the auction and donations in lieu of attendance will go directly towards our work with survivors of torture and organised violence.
