The Earl of Rochester with Alexander Larman
Following the recent publication of his book, Blazing Star, Alexander Larman will be discussing the life and times of John Wilmot, Earl of Rochester. Known as the 'wickedest man alive', he went to Oxford University at the age of 12, slept with his first prostitute at 13, was an alcoholic at 14 and died of syphilis at the age of 33. Blazing Star is a compelling portrait of a remarkable and complex man.
