Award-winning Scottish double bassist and composer Euan Burton launches his second album Too Much Love on Whirlwind Recordings following on from his internationally acclaimed suite Occurrences.

As a composer, Burton marries a wonderful blend of beautiful melodies with playful yet tricksy structures that invite the listener into the music. All About Jazz describes how Burton’s “compositions touch on universal feelings and emotions… his band crafts the music with rare delicacy and grace”. This powerful approach has resonated with audiences across the world with recent tours of America, Canada and Poland. As a bassist, Burton’s playing boasts a beautiful touch and warm tone, and has featured on over twenty recordings such as jazz releases featuring the likes of Ari Hoenig, Tom Gibbs and Will Vinson and the soundtrack of the Disney - Pixar film Brave. This special performance launches the album and features fellow award-winning Scotsman Ryan Quigley.
