Crafty Fox Autumn Markets 2014

Brixton’s Crafty Fox Markets provide a unique opportunity to meet over 100 hand-picked artists and designers from around the country. The Autumn Markets take place on 4th and 5th October set over three floors at the Dogstar in Brixton. Entry is free and children are welcome.

Guest curator, Katie Treggiden of popular blog ‘Confessions of a Design Geek’ shared her expertise to help select traders from a list of over 400 applicants. Almost 50% of autumn market traders are new to Crafty Fox, representing an eclectic mix of illustration, accessories, home wares, ceramics, fashion and textiles.

On the top floor you can discover new talent in the ‘Crafty Fox Uncovered’ area – a scheme that supports and mentors new traders.

Workshops
Alongside the stalls, shoppers will find a selection of drop-in workshops including:

- Screen-printing with Mr Wingate where you can design and print your own tote bag or tea towel.
- Lucie Ellen’s bunting necklace workshop.
- The Sewcial Circle’s “Day of the Dead” brooch making workshop.

Tea Rooms, Drinks and DJs
Visitors can feast on The Teas’s Knees delicious home-made cakes and loose leaf British-grown tea in the tearoom and we’ll have a full bar in operation for anyone after some “hair of the dog”. DJs will be spinning across all floors.
