Bromley Comedy - Ava Vidal

Since 2004 Bromley Comedy has presented some of the world's finest comedians from Russell Howard Reginald D Hunter, Russell Kane, Sarah Millican, Jack Whitehall, Micky Flannagan and many more.

Ava Vidal has become a regular presence on television since she turned heads as the BBC New Comedy Awards' only female finalist in the very first year of her career. She has appeared on Mock the Week, Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow, Comedy Central's The World Stands Up, Edinburgh and Beyond and C4 reality show Kings of Comedy. Ava was the subject of the documentary From the Top, detailing her background and development as a comedian.

As a commentator, Ava has contributed to The Wright Stuff, Daybreak, ITN News and BBC World Have Your Say. She has written for The Independent and The Guardian, and has used racist abuse directed at her as fuel for her acclaimed solo stand-up show.

Since 2004 Bromley Comedy has had some of what are now some of the nation's or the world's finest and funniest comedians from Russell Howard Reg D Hunter, Russell Kane, Sarah Millican, Jack Whitehall, Micky Flannagan, Sarah Millican, Bob Mills and Stephen K Amos and to name jsut a few. Every now and then these guys come back and see us as special guests, but there's a whole bunch of top acts that we have that are bubbling and ready to break through... Sara Pascoe, Tiff Stevenson, Pat Monahan, Kerry Godliman, Alfie Moore.

Each week you will see a terrific group of 4 - 5 comedy acts including a professional MC. The Opening (1st) and Closing (Last) acts will be the kind you would see open or headline any top professional club on the circuit. The acts in the middle will be newer acts either hand picked by us after discovery at the Edinburgh fringe or competition winners or recommended by others in the industry as up-n-coming acts to watch...they can go either way. Sometimes they go all the way.
