Since 2004 Bromley Comedy has presented some of the world's finest comedians from Russell Howard, Reginald D Hunter, Russell Kane, Sarah Millican, Jack Whitehall, Micky Flannagan and many more.

Patrick Monahan is one of a very rare breed - an Irish/Iranian/Geordie stand-up comedian - and is currently number one in his field winning ITV's huge 2011 stand-up talent competition, Show Me The Funny.

Irish father and an Iranian mother he grew up in Teeside which is where he first developed that unique accent and the ability to make people laugh.

Learning the ropes on the notorious Irish/Iranian/Geordie stand-up circuit, Patrick Monahan soon developed the chatty and friendly, story telling style that is still entertaining people today.
Patrick Monahan has developed an almost old-fashioned, everyman persona for himself, with his versatility and likeable stage persona making him a popular comedian with all ages, genres and backgrounds.

Once likened to the "nice guy at the wedding who flirts with the bridesmaids, tops up the aunties' glasses and breakdances to amuse the kids", Patrick Monahan's comedy offers something for everyone, all delivered with cheeky grin.

An original writer, performer and clever improviser with a mastery in audience interaction, he engages the audience with a delightful mix of local banter and universal issues, combined with animated tales of his own experiences of growing up in the north east of England.

Top stand-up Patrick Monahan is proving equally popular and versatile on television and is much in demand as performer, guest, presenter, panel member and pundit.

WHAT THE CRITICS SAID:
"A one man ethnic melting pot, a star in the making" - Daily Telegraph.
"He moves around the stage like a boxer working a ring, covering all angles and staying light on his feet. He is a walking advert for world harmony. Hearts will be broken, socks will be laughed off." - The Scottish Herald.
