THE MOTHER THE SUN THE HOLY GHOST is a solo exhibition of work by Michael Ward his paintings deal with large themes : creation, war, the cosmos and within these themes are slices of the emotional and spiritual odyssey we all have to make.

Employing a style that might be called organic abstraction , canvases are heavily worked and the narratives are woven into the gestures symbols and characters inhabiting the densely populated surfaces.
