Cage Play

CAGEPLAY is an interactive music-theatre piece. Create the music that you want to hear, live, in real time.

HOW TO CAGEPLAY

1. Come to the Bussey Building between Tue Sep 9th and Thur Sep 11th.

2. Push musicians around a room (they are your minions).

3. Observe what kind of music they make in different places.

4. Use them to direct the piece however you want.

5. Or just listen and watch.

Musicians will engage with different Johns (Adams, Cage, Cale, Coltrane, and Williams) depending on their position in the space.

Combine, juxtapose, isolate or ignore as you see fit.
