With art themed stories, a visit from picture book illustrator Yasmeen Ismail and a special art zone, we've got something for everyone to enjoy as we celebrate everything about drawing.

Poor Duncan just wants to colour in. But when he opens his box of crayons, he only finds letters, all saying the same thing: we quit. Join our Story Builder to find out what Duncan can do to persuade his disgruntled crayons to get back to drawing.

AUTHOR and ILLUSTRATOR EVENT and BOOK SIGNING

Join award-winning author and illustrator Yasmeen Ismail​ for a fun-filled storytelling and craft session. In celebration of her new book, Specs for Rex, children will be invited to make and decorate their own big, beautiful, wonderful spectacles.

Included with admission to Discover with access to Discover's Story Trail, Story Garden, interactive exhibition, 'Once There Was.The Wonderful World of Oliver Jeffers' and events.
