‘All the Wrong Places’ is an exhibition of observational drawings by Anna Magnowska, showing at the Nancy Victor Gallery, Charlotte Place, London W1T 1SG, from 24th – 29th November 2014.

The path to finding happiness in love has never been easy to navigate. Now with more and more ways to meet people, there are equally more and more ways to find yourself lost down that path. ‘All the Wrong Places’ explores the idea of finding love in this modern age, both within the ‘real’ world and the virtual world.

The drawings catalogue selfies, chat-up lines, dating website profiles, casual remarks and desperate pleas. In a world that seems to offer so many options at the click of a mouse or the wink of an eye, you can easily find yourself looking for love in....... All the Wrong Places.

Anna Magnowska has been a freelance illustrator for over a decade and her work has been exhibited and published internationally. Anna’s work has been seen in ‘The Independent’, ‘Grazia’, and ‘Dazed and Confused’ as well as many other international publications. She has had her work projected onto the Lucky Strike Bowling Lanes in Hollywood, and has held exhibitions in Sydney and London. Her most recent show was for Mark Hix at the Cock ’n’ Bull Gallery in East London. Through her personal Anna explores the themes of love, sex and human behaviour using observational drawings and paintings.
