Learn a Language Open Evening

Our Open Evening is aimed at those who are interested in learning a language of Africa, the Middle East or Asia or one of our European languages: French, Portuguese or Spanish.

The Open Evening gives prospective applicants an opportunity to:
•enquire about the Language Centre’s portfolio of courses
•speak to teaching staff about individual language courses
•take an assessment to see what level of study is appropriate
•find out how to apply and when courses start and finish
•check to see if any discounts are available on courses
•meet the Head of the Language Centre and other staff

For those who have an existing knowledge of their target language, there will be designated times for assessments in Arabic, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. We cannot offer assessments in other languages during the Open Evening but we can take your details and make an arrangement for an assessment to be scheduled.

No booking is required for the Open Evening and attendance is free.
