Australian-born singer/songwriter Nina Ferro is universally respected as an artist of class and style. She has a warm sensuous voice, full of character, which along with her impeccable timing and stunning vocal range have done much to help her establish an enviable International reputation. Her wealth of experience has seen her perform at festivals, clubs and concerts throughout North America, Europe, Asia and Australia and she has supported some of the world’s great artists, including Tony Bennett, Jose Feliciano, and Ricky Martin as well as Jazz greats such as Chick Corea and David Sanborn. Nina’s latest album, “Into The Light” serves to showcase not only an unforgettable vocalist but also an accomplished and insightful songwriter. Written and recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, Into the Light features 13 beautifully crafted original compositions with foundations in old school rhythm and blues and jazz, infused with soul and a dash of country! Tonight, performing her terrific original songs from that album, plus a mix of impressive Jazz and Groove standards, Nina is joined on the stand by, amongst others, the wonderful Australian pianist Grant Windsor (Jamie Cullum, Carole King) and the excellent UK bassist Simon Little (Claire Martin, Nick Cave). Somewhat sadly for us this will be the last gig that Grant will be doing here at the Club before he returns to Australia after almost 10 years in the UK, and it’s also Nina’s Birthday (yeh!), so expect plenty of fun and some Surprise Guests. Promises to be quite a night.

"A fabulous performer with a knockout voice." Tony Bennett;
"Ferro's voice is a pleasure to hear... natural, sexy and effortless." Cadence Magazine, New York;
“Into the Light is simply a magisterial album....her singing and the accompanying musicianship would be difficult to better” Get Ready to Rock
