The World Jamboree is a world music and food inter-faith annual event which raises vital funds for Health Poverty Action. The event, now in its third year, has grown year on year and is set to continue this trend with new artists being introduced to the line up. Chefs from around the world cook up a feast of fantastic flavours. Last year saw food from Italy, France, India, Japan, America and Angola.

The event is introduced by several faith leaders. At a time of rising religious tensions in the UK and around the world, World Jamboree is a welcome reminder of the possibility of interfaith co-operation and aims to break down the barriers between religions and initiate a dialogue of cohesion.

All proceeds go to Health Poverty Action Charity. Health Poverty Action is a UK based charity (Vauxhall) supporting the health of poor and marginalised communities across Africa, Asia and Latin America. We work with communities in remote and neglected regions to tackle the range of factors affecting their health – such as weak health systems, communicable diseases, lack of basic health education, harmful traditional practices, gender-based violence, lack of food and income, and poor water and sanitation.
