After a summer of festivals Wara bring their high-energy fusion of traditional Latin and Cuban styles with the global influences of modern London alongside Movimientos DJ in this cool warehouse space for a proper Havana London soundclash fiesta as part of the annual Elefest

Influenced by the fieriest of contemporary Havana's Timba and Songo ('Cuban salsa') sounds, borrowing their biting horn lines from the times of the mambo and cha-cha-cha, whilst also covering pan-Latin genres such as Reggaetón and Merengue, Wara also have one foot in London's vibrant global underground from Ragga, Dancehall and Reggae beats picked up off the Afro-Caribbean scene to grooving Funk, Ska and bass-heavy Hip-Hop. The multicultural vibe that makes London so unique is abundantly present in their sound.

Following last year's debut album 'Leave To Remain' which received a 4 star review in The Guardian, a sold-out album launch at the Jazz Café, various performances on the BBC World Service and Radio 3, not to mention shooting their first music video between the rooftops of Shoreditch and the streets of Havana. With their high-energy fusion of traditional Latin and Cuban styles and the global influences of modern London, Wara have been turning heads and capturing hearts from the outset.

Movimientos DJs fresh from residencies across London and a slew of UK festivals drop anything from Salsa dura and Cumbia Colombiana to saucy Merengues to Reggaeton, Dancehall, Latin Hip Hop and future tropical bass.
