For London Design Festival The New Craftsmen, a pioneering platform dedicated to the promotion and conservation of British crafts, has come together with Fox & Squirrel, London's most creative walks for the culturally curious, to offer an insight into Mayfair's long yet often unnoticed heritage of British craftsmanship.

On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, (18th, 19th and 20th of September) a walk guided by Fox & Squirrel will set off from the beautiful premises of the New Craftsmen on a mission to unveil Mayfair's history through its craftsmanship.

Each walk will explore a different facet of Mayfair and each walk will end at the hidden 'Staircase to somewhere' where the crafts installation changes daily. There guests will be greeted by the craftsman for a talk on his skills and work on display.

Walks start with a hot brew of coffee offered at the New Craftsmen. To sign up to the event email [email protected] including in the subject title the name of the walk you wish to attend.
