Equator's Women of the World series presents music from around the world with a mix of Brazilian, Jewish, Indian, Cape Verdean, Bulgarian, African, jazz, French and Czech classical composers and musicians.

Ignite and ShivaNova join forces to create a fiery dialogue across musical traditions from Europe, India, Africa and the Carribbean. An exciting combination of Indian, jazz and classical musicians perform newly commissioned world premieres by Jenni Rodditi, Errollyn and Byron Wallen, Jackie Walduck, Orphy Robinson, and Priti Paintal.

ShivaNova is one of the West's leading cross-cultural ensembles set-up by composer Priti Paintal and grounded in Indian, jazz and European styles, widely admired and enjoyed for the energy and flair of its improvising.

The Ignite Ensemble is Wigmore Hall's improvisation and creative outreach group. Led by Jackie Walduck it is comprised of professional musicians from a rich variety of musical backgrounds.
