Brimming with sartorial wit and style, The Singh Project looks at the two most ubiquitous symbols of the Sikh faith: the beard and turban. A visual exploration of faith, style and identity in modern Britain, the collection features 35 British Sikh men, all named Singh (Sanskrit for lion), of all ages, from all walks of life. From behind the lens, creative partners Amit and Naroop draw something special out of each subject, their high intensity visual style never overshadowing the rawness and humanity of each portrait.
The Singh Project has already gained international acclaim taking third place in the Prix de la Photographie Paris competition in 2013 for the striking portrait of student Ishtmeet Singh Phull.
