One Up,One Down - Immersive Theatre Platform

From 13-19th October, 47/49 Victorian warehouse in Tower Bridge will play host to 3 theatre companies producing ambitious and challenging work - One Up,One Down - Immersive Theatre Platform!

Bad Host Theatre will present Swines, a satirical and immersive performance inspired by Britain’s talent show culture and the current eco-political climate. Jackinthebox Productions presents The Hotel, 3 secret plays performed in adjacent rooms, colliding through the walls, and at the interval the audience members can choose what they will see next. A preview of Daddies don’t cry will be performed by Alight Theatre Company for one night only, which chronicles the separation of a family, set against a dramatic sculpture. And 47/49 will be running a free forum theatre workshop for actors and non actors, which will give participants the opportunity to re-enact and challenge moments of oppression.
