Have you tried to make your voice heard, to protest, to speak out, even just to vote, but felt like giving up because you felt powerless to make a change?

Us too!

Come along and join our debate where we’ll be asking:

- who has the power in the UK in 2014
- are we really powerless
- what can we do together to make things better

What will happen on the day?

We’ll hear thought-provoking ideas from the human rights laywer Michael Mansfield QC (represented Princess Di, Jean Charles de Menezes, Bloody Sunday), along with Jamie Kelsey-Fry (editor at New Internationalist and campaigner) and Louise Beaumont (founder of award-winning alternative finance company Platform Black) - followed by a chance for everyone to discuss ideas.

The event is free, and everyone is welcome. We want this debate to involve anyone, whatever your politics or ideas, because whether you vote Green, Tory, Labour, UKIP, Lib Dem, or you don't vote at all, whether you’re an anarchist, libertarian, socialist, capitalist, whatever your political ideas, the state of power in the UK affects you.

Please invite and share with friends you think will be interested.
