The Mycenae House Comedy Club returns on Friday 17th October at 8pm with a fantastic line-up featuring Jim Smallman, Felicity Ward, Chris Turner and Rachel Parris.

After the successful launch of the Mycenae House Comedy Club earlier in the year we are pleased to announce the event will now run regularly on the 3rd Friday of each month, featuring talent from comedians such as Sara Pascoe, Rachel Parris, Eric Lampaert, Stuart Goldsmith and Keith Farnan.

Line-up for 17th October includes:

Jim Smallman
‘It’s obvious that Jim Smallman is a natural born compere. He has such an easy rapport with the audience and tells his tales with a fluidity and energy that keeps everyone attentive. He could talk the hind legs off a donkey, but you suspect that the donkey wouldn’t really mind... he’s an instinctive storyteller who draws out the humour in every anecdote. On the comedy spectrum, he falls somewhere between Frank Skinner and Dave Gorman... his silver-tongued banter is likely to charm most audiences’ Chortle

‘Jim Smallman is not just a comic who tells brilliant jokes, he is a heart-warming storyteller, and his experiences will have you captivated and laughing out loud’ Three Weeks

Felicity Ward
Felicity Ward is a multi-award winning, 31 year old, Melbourne-based, stand-up comic, writer and performer.

She is most well-known in Australia for her work on Network Ten's The Ronnie Johns Half Hour, and her regular guest appearances on ABC's Spicks and Specks and 7's Thank God You're Here.

Chris Turner
Chris’s sharply written gags, assured stage presence and blisteringly quick improvised raps have established him as one of the best up-and-coming comics on the international circuit, performing in the UK, USA, Australia and India.

His keen wit and intelligent wordplay have seen him rack up over 1.6 million views on YouTube; headline for 1.1 million Dutch comedy fans on RTL4's flagship stand up show, The Comedy Factory; appear live on BBC Radio 2 and perform sold-out runs at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, where in 2012, he was part of the prestigious Pleasance Comedy Reserve, and awarded the 5th Best Joke of the Fringe.
‘Beautifully crafted one-liners, witty wordplay’ BBC
‘The king of funny one-liners’ Time Out Mumbai

Rachel Parris
Musical comedian Rachel Parris – funny, witty, charming and bloody funny!

'An elegant performer with rich witty numbers... clearly in command of her style' Chortle

'One sometimes doubts that Britain's got talent, but Parris has it in spades' The Guardian
