Live Jazz Music

The Clissold Arms presents: The Mazzone - Ofer- Chema Jazz Trio is a unique Jazz outfit based in London. As opposed to a classic Jazz band, the Trio don't just play a typical jazz standard repertoire but a mixture of cheerful and danceable Swing, Blues, Soul, Brazilian, Cuban and world music, including some great hits and well known songs, specially re-arranged and tastefully performed to provide a unique experience to all audiences.

Danilo Mazzone: The Italian young and talented pianist/keyboardist has only been in London for 1 year and he is already one of the most demanded jazz players in town. Danilo studied privately with the best top jazz players in Italy. He is the house keyboardist for some of the most exciting jazz clubs/ nights around London and UK and his performances are always refreshing and unique.

Ofer-bass: Born in Israel, Ofer's career is extensive and international. Having done lots of high profile work in some of the most important musical institutions in Germany and around the world: ( Teacher at the Berlin music school Mitte, Bass player of the Berliner Ensembles theater piece LULU, (production by Bob Wilson, music by Lou Reed),Bass player of the Deautches Theater piece Fahr zur Hölle, Ingo Sachs. Currently based in London, Ofer is an extremely demanded bassist with an inpressive and unique sound.

Chema sacristan- Drums: Having studied a music performance degree at LCM, is now one of the most active Jazz and World music drummers in London. Chema is an all rounded drummer with a passion for world music of all kinds, he can comfortably blend Jazz and Soul with brazilian, flamenco, african and cuban rhythms and always from a very danceable and groovy perspective.
