Steve Violaris and The Outsiders, Clay, The Shinings +Support

'SMITHS', Spitalfields, is located on the outskirts of the iconic Old Spitalfields Market and on Friday 10th October will play host to some of the best live bands in London. Hosted by HOT VOX, this free entry Friday night event is the place to be to discover excellent new bands in rock 'n' roll chic surroundings.

Topping the bill is Steve Violaris, a Funk/Soul/Urban artist from North London. He grew up listening to artists such as Bill Withers, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Elvis and Frank Sinatra who inspired a passion for singing and ignited his love for soulful, warm, clearly presented vocals.

Support comes from Clay, a country/folk/rock four-piece whose music effortlessly bridges genre boundaries.

Also on the line up are The Shinings. This acoustic trio deliver alternative folk/gyspy melodies to make even the most shy want to sing and dance along.

Tom Lumley is next on the line up. Originally from Needingworth, Cambridgeshire, the young singer/songwriter has already released 3 EP's as well as a single.

Opening the night is Kristal Sisodia, an excellent lyricist whose music reflects the sounds, colours and architecture of her surroundings.

So sip on a cocktail in the bar overlooking the Shoreditch streets or make your way to the stunning basement bar to listen to the hottest new bands around. With a line up this talented all housed in one of the best undiscovered live music venues in East London, this free night is sure to start your Friday off right.
