Accordian virtuoso Martynas Levickis performs in the Royal Albert Hall’s Elgar Room, taking the instrument around the world and back and forth across the centuries.

The accordion is probably most closely identified with folk music from Eastern Europe and South America, but young Lithuanian virtuoso Martynas Levickis aims to prove that it can perform music beyond these boundaries. His selftitled debut album on Decca is a riotous ride through a rainbow of styles, all of them artfully tailored and arranged to show off Martynas' brilliant playing. From Beethoven to Vivaldi, Ennio Morricone to Lady Gaga, he takes the accordion around the world and back and forth across the centuries.

SinChronic, a quartet bound in the same musical philosophy, ideas and four very different, yet equally inspired personalities, formed in 2013 for a concert with Martynas. The group is comprised of Kristina Morozova, Giedre Zarenaite (violins), Vytenis Lisauskas (viola), and Igne Pikalaviciute (cello).
