SOULLESS

2027: Dr Joanna Faust enters the Oculus. Journey with her into a computer generated reality where your darkest dreams can come true; if you are willing to barter your soul. Soulless is a dark and visceral re-imagining of Goethe Faust as a two-hander, directed by John Rushton.

The company are thrilled to re-appropriate this classically male role with their gender inverted take on the Faust myth. The two actresses will switch nightly between the, manic computer scientist, Faust, & her hyper-intelligent AI creation, Mephistopheles.

Anonymous Is a Woman Theatre Company are dedicated to bringing audiences high quality, engaging, theatrical experiences that tell the unheard stories of women throughout history and across the world. The company was set up by to graduates of the Drama Centre London who wished to tell her-story from history. In 2015 Anonymous will be touring their WW1 play F.A.N.Y with the support of the Women's History Network.
