Taste of London Winter 2014 will be at Tobacco Dock 20th-23rd of November. This year’s festival theme will be Forgotten Food, asking chefs to bring back a favourite food from their past, celebrating ingredients that may have fallen out of favour in recent years.
Food enthusiasts will be able to taste a whole host of sumptuous dishes from the very best of London’s restaurant scene. Try food with a Peruvian flair from Andina or sample Ember Yard or Brindisa’s tapas inspired delights. Newly launched gem Kurobuta will be making their Taste debut with moreish Japanese fare and Assado and Rota Chai will be bringing a spicy element to the festival. East London favourite Hixter will also appear to showcase their chicken and steak inspired menu. Shake Shack will be serving their signature burgers and Gaucho will be dishing up classic Argentine steaks.
Visitors will also have a chance to see their culinary idols in action around the festival and in the Electrolux Taste Theatre. Raymond Blanc will be championing lost heritage fruit and vegetables as his ‘forgotten food’.
