The second of three concerts celebrating the centenary of William Lloyd Webber (1914-1982). His sons, Andrew and Julian, both achieved world-wide fame, one for a series of smash-hit musicals and the other as an internationally acclaimed cellist

Julian Lloyd Webber will host the programme of chamber works and read from Travels with my Cello with questions and answers about his father to follow. Jiaxin Lloyd Webber comes with the Verter Piano Trio to play chamber music by William Lloyd Webber, Andrew Lloyd Webber's Music of the Night and Rachmaninov.

A very special occasion to hear and talk to members of the famous Lloyd Webber family. One hour long, it is a lovely introduction to classical music for quite young listeners.

William Lloyd Webber: Fantasy Piano Trio In the Half-light, cello and piano
The Gardens at Eastwell, violin and piano
3 Spring Miniatures, solo piano
Andrew Lloyd Webber: Music of the Night, cello and piano
Rachmaninov: Elegiac Trio, piano trio
Julian Lloyd Webber hosts the programme and reads from Travels with my Cello followed by Q&A about his father.
Verter Trio: Min-jin Kym (violin), Jiaxin Lloyd Webber (cello), Marc Verter (piano).
