Come and celebrate all the best things about running with us!

Like the Wind magazine is all about stories about runners, by runners and for runners. And now we want to bring as many of you together as possible. So we have rented a gallery & bar in Shoreditch, in the heart of London and for a week it be full of running events.

We are delighted to announce the first few events at the Pop-Up and as places for all of the events will be limited, we would encourage you to get booking if you see something you’d like to come to:

Monday 27 October – Creative writing workshop with Charlie Dark:

A poet, musician, teacher and founder of the RunDemCrew, Charlie will lead the group for a run from the Pop-Up around the streets before coming back to an interactive, inspiring and informative workshop all about writing about running.

Thursday 30 October – Action photography workshop with Ian Corless:

As an endurance sports athlete, Ian has immersed himself in the worlds of elite level cycling, duathlon, triathlon and ultra trail running. This experience along with his professional experience as a photographer gives him a unique perspective when it comes to capturing breathtaking and inspiring images of mountain, trail, fell and ultra runners all over the world. This is a great chance to come and learn how to take your photography to the next level.

Wednesday 29 October – Sewing Workshop: Make Your Own Running Tights with Melissa Fehr

Experienced seamstress and runner Melissa Fehr, will show you how to sew your own pair of basic running leggings. The course is for everyone: from near-beginners to those experience with a sewing machine.
