Set on the sandy banks of the river Mapocho, Caldo tell this true story of bravery and resistance as a gloriously fun whirlwind of physical theatre, bawdy comedy and astute political commentary.
Part of CASA Festival 2014
By Caldo con Enjundia (Chile)
In the 1940s the mysterious disappearance of a local boxing star-to-be and fervent believer in social justice galvanised a marginalised community against political persecution and media manipulation.
Set on the sandy banks of the river Mapocho, Caldo tell this true story of bravery and resistance as a gloriously fun whirlwind of physical theatre, bawdy comedy and astute political commentary accompanied by a wonderful live soundtrack of 1940’s Chilean song and music.
Performed in Spanish with English Surtitles.
Please note that this performance includes a sit down dinner in Venue 2.
