Irish Traditional Music Sessions: Return to Camden Town

Fiddlers Elbow is proud to announce that the 26th of October's Irish Trad Session will be apart of the 'Return to Camden Town' festival which is the UK's internationally-renowned traditional Irish music, song and dance festival. This will be the 16th year that 'Return to Camden Town' has allowed London to experience Irish music and the Fiddlers Elbow is very excited to present one of their Sunday festival dates.

Whats going on at The Fiddler's Elbow every Sunday afternoon?
A new gathering of Irish traditional musicians for the purpose of celebrating their common interest in the music by playing it together in a relaxed, informal setting, while in the process generally beefing up the mystical cultural mantra that hums along uninterruptedly beneath all manifestations of Irishness worldwide

An Irish "session" is a gathering of musicians (often taking place in a public venue) for the purpose of playing music together.

Playing in a good session can be fun, invaluable playing experience, and a great chance to improve your music--all at the same time. Good sessions can produce some of the best Irish music in the world, and they can do so for hours on end--under the right circumstances. And of course where better for this to take place every Sunday afternoon then The famous Fiddler's Elbow Music Venue in Camden. Flying the musical flag for North London.
