Auchentoshan, the only Single Malt Scotch Whisky to triple distil every single drop, is proud to announce the launch of American Oak, an exciting new addition to its core range. To celebrate, it’s holding a party, or as they say across the Pond a ‘Palooza’, to remember.

To launch the brand new expression, which boats hints of spice, vanilla cream and zesty fruity flavours, Auchentoshan will host a party like no other on 21st October, at The Old Shoreditch Underground, Pedley Street, from 7:00pm. Guests will be invited to join Auchentoshan in toasting the expression’s Scottish and American roots in an untraditional way, with a celebration of music, art and whisky in the disused station.

The Doodle-a-Palooza will see Graffiti Life artists put their doodling skills to the test on walls built from wooden crates. They will be challenged to draw as many iconic American images as possible, all suggested on Twitter by attendees on the night. Guests will also be treated to free cocktails that have been created especially for the night by East London mixologist and co-founder of Rita’s Dining, Missy Flynn. On the decks, the Work It girls will keep the good times rolling with their set of 90’s hip hop and R&B classics. There will also be some other untraditional surprises to keep guests entertained on the night.

As one of Scotland’s most unique single malt whiskies, Auchentoshan is proud of its Glasgow roots, but for one night only it will pay homage to American Oak’s Stateside beginnings. The new expression is born from first fill American bourbon whisky casks made from the wood of 100 year old oak trees in the North American mountains. The barrels are emptied and shipped to Scotland to be filled with the triple distilled Auchentoshan new-make spirit.

Don’t miss out on a chance to be a part of the Doodle-a–Palooza action and witness a whisky event with an untraditional twist. The event is free to attend and will be operated on a first come first served basis.

Entry will be on a first come first serve basis, so arrive early to avoid disappointment.
