Following their roadblock party at Village Underground earlier this year, Jaymo & Andy George’s Moda Black record label continues to push the envelope, as the crew take over the intimate Crucifix Lane Warehouse for a special two-night Moda Black Weekender on November 21st and 22nd. Rising stars Chaim, Fur Coat, Walker & Royce, PBR Streetgang, Theo Kottis and Waifs & Strays join J&AG for the culminating weekend of the Moda Black Autumn Tour… expect a serious blow-out!

For the opening night Jaymo & Andy George have invited some of the labels closest friends, who also happen to be spectacular selectors. Brooklyn boys Walker & Royce are smoking hot right now, after scooping Essential New Tune with their sonically insane ’Sister’ track, that recently came out on Moda Black. They’ll be joined by two of the finest selectors in the the game; We Love… Space residents PBR Streetgang, alongside Bristol house buccaneer Waifs & Strays. With collective releases on labels such as Get Physical, Crosstown Rebels and Hot Creations; this is a gang of musical endowed tearaways that will clearly tear the roof off.

SATURDAY 22ND NOVEMBER
After what is sure to be a massive launch to the Moda Black Weekender, the following night is guaranteed to be another roadblock, as the music policy shifts into a more stripped back and melodic arena. Following their huge ‘U Turn’ EP on Crosstown Rebels, which was supported by everyone from Tale Of Us to Richy Hawtin, Fur Coat will be making their Moda Black debut. Joining them, hot on the heels of releases with Visionquest and Guy Gerber’s Rumours imprint, Chaim will be showing us why he is one of the hottest newcomers of the moment. Representing Moda Black will be label bosses Jaymo & Andy George, alongside one of the most recent and exciting additions to the labels roster, Theo Kottis. Following the huge buzz around his ‘Waiting Game’ EP on Moda Black, his London debut is set to be something special.

For this landmark event the Moda Black team opted for the intimate surroundings of Crucifix Lane. As the last stop of the Moda Black Autumn tour, they wanted to this to be a proper party. No big stages, over-the-top production, secluded dressing rooms or bullshit VIP areas - just music loving, likeminded people, dancing to some of the best up-and-coming artists from around the world. The way it should be.
