Celebrity Christmas Stocking Auction

Now in its 16th year, the Macmillan Celebrity Christmas Stocking Auction is the perfect way to celebrate 2014 and get in to the Christmas spirit. Taking inspiration from the impressive backdrop of St Pancras Renaissance Hotel with the theme A Night in Paris, guests will be immersed in the vibrant atmosphere of Paris with live entertainment emulating Parisian life.

This year, the celebrities supporting the event include Dame Judi Dench, Jamie Dornan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Emilia Fox, Lorraine Kelly, The Saturdays, Sir David Brailsford, Darcey Bussell, Lenny Henry and Zandra Rhodes. Each have listed what they would like to wake up to on Christmas morning in their ideal stocking which include luxury items, exclusive holidays and money can’t buy experiences; professional auctioneer Edward Rising from Sotheby’s will auction them off live on the night. Along with a few surprises on the way, the silent auction and tree of surprises will offer everyone in the room the opportunity to win some fantastic pieces.

Some of this year’s incredible prizes include:
• A trip to join Team Sky on a stage of the Tour de France; the winner will ride in the Team Sky car and enjoy dinner with the team and
• A meal with Dame Judi Dench at the Ivy for four
• A private tour of the Fashion and Textile Museum’s latest exhibition followed by tea for four in Zandra Rhodes penthouse
• Tickets to see Hamlet at the Barbican
• VIP tickets to the 50 Shades of Grey premiere in London in February.
