Kerrang! Radio's Jack Oliver Saunders presents HOP/SCOTCH at the Queen Of Hoxton.

HOP/SCOTCH hand picks some the best new music each month and puts them on live in a small, intimate venue for you to witness the hype first, before anyone else, and give you that exclusive experience.

The night is hosted at the Queen Of Hoxton, a quirky, contemporary bar in the heart of Shoreditch with a fantastic reputation for it’s club nights and now gaining momentum for putting on amazing live acts.

Already confirmed for the first three events are:

29th October: God Damn, with support from Weirds.
12th November: Trampolene, with support from Get Hot.
26th November: Isaiah Dreads, with support from Humor.

Jack has an undeniable love for music, especially new music and HOP/SCOTCH has allowed him to transfer that passion from the radio, and give some incredible bands and artists a platform to launch themselves from. Jack's eclectic taste reflects the cross-grenred musical climate right now and that is shown physically through HOP/SCOTCH from rock to indie, to hip-hop and house and everything in between; if it's good HOP/SCOTCH will support it!

Lets tell you about the bands...

God Damn are a hard rock band and their debut album provided the perfect catharsis drawing on grunge and blues to fuel their fiery pop hooks. They are supported by Weirds, who will bring their phsycadellic alt-rock to proceedings. It's perfect timing as the landscape of music is shifting towards guitar music once again.

Trampolene, with their dirty bass lines, limitless energy and roaring vocals are an eruption of sound that will make even the stingiest of dancers move. Get Hot will make you pout your lips, scrunch your face together and get you aggressively nodding until your head falls off! Their electronic, bass heavy hooks will take control of you and there's nothing you can do about it.

Isaiah Dreads is hip-hop's teenage prodigy, with a flow on a mission to hit home grime as a staple genre, he brings the poetic voice of Brooklyn's hip-hop scene alongside the care free party vibe of his age (16) straight to his music. Isaiah is backed up by Humor, whose hip-hop teams up with underground electronic music, generating a deep mellow sound accompanied by Humor's poignant lyrics.
