A new Sunday monthly residency. Lilac Sheer will hold the stage at inSpiral lounge on the first Sunday of every month. Come and get acquainted with this talented performer and experience her wonderful music.

Performing since the tender age of 16, it was in June 2013 that Lilac decided to pull a complete 180° turn. She sold all of her stuff, left her entire life behind and moved to London to promote her new Country-Rock album, fittingly titled ‘A Different Country’, in the strong belief that following your dreams in search of love and happiness, will set your soul free.

***
Singer/Songwriter Lilac Sheer is an experienced and educated musician, with a musical background that spans over 15 years long. She plays guitar, harmonica and piano, and has performed countless times in Israel and abroad.

Lilac began writing and composing songs at the tender age of 10. She studied classical ‘Bel Canto’ for 4 years and served in the IDF as a lead vocalist for the Air Force band and upon her release, took her guitar and moved to Los Angeles for a year, where she performed in local clubs. Since her return to Israel, Lilac regularly performed with her own ensemble in shows incorporating her original music with Folk & Country classics and released three albums.

Lilac has already performed in 8 countries over 6 months, along with countless appearances around London, leaving audiences spellbound by her emotional conviction, impressive vocal range and guitar and harmonica playing skills.

Stylistically compared to the likes of Alanis Morrisette and Jewel, Lilac sings about her experiences of the world, as seen through the eyes of a girl who grew up in an orthodox family, served in the Army, lived in different continents and about all the love and loss that was faced in between. This culminates in ‘A Different Country’ – a unique and emotional recording that comes from the heart.
