During the Marcos’ regime, journalist Carman Navarro Pedrosa wrote an unauthorised biography revealing the truth about Imelda Marcos’ upbringing, and as a result she and her family were forced to flee the country. In this informal discussion, Pedrosa and her daughter Veronica Pedrosa (Al Jazeera) discuss how she came to write the book, how they became political activists and the legacy of the Marcoses.
