LUCY KERBEL is the Director of Tonic Theatre and an award-winning theatre director. Having begun her career as Resident Director at the National Theatre Studio and English Touring Theatre, Kerbel went on to direct a range of classics, new writing and productions for younger audiences. In addition to directing she does consultancy, lecturing, and works extensively in theatre education. tonictheatre.co.uk
GILLI BUSH-BAILEY is Visiting Professor in Women's Performance History at Central School of Speech and Drama, bringing together a first career as an actress with a second as an academic. She was previously in the Department of Drama and Theatre at Royal Holloway, University of London, creating courses on women and comedy, 19th-century melodrama and theatre history.
