An exciting first for the Landscape Photographer of the Year Awards as this year’s exhibition will be held on the recently-built Mezzanine at London Waterloo station. Completed in the summer of 2012, the balcony provides a perfect location to display successful entries from the competition; showcasing the very best of the British countryside in the very heart of the capital. Waterloo is Britain’s busiest station and each year is visited by 100 million visitors from all corners of the world.

Winning photographs will be exhibited on display panels along the balcony and you may be lucky enough to catch them making an appearance on Motion@Waterloo, a 40m wide LCD screen which is the largest single indoor screen in the UK and spans the station from platforms 7 to 11.

Opening on Monday, December 1st 2014, the exhibition will run for nine weeks. Admission is free and access is unprecedented in the Awards eight year history – as long as the station is open, visitors will have the chance to see it; over 1200 hours of opportunity.

The Awards are held in association with VisitBritain and the Countryside is GREAT campaign and the exhibition is supported by Network Rail.
