Erskine, Hall & Coe is delighted to host its second solo exhibition by Sara Flynn, acclaimed Irish ceramic artist. The first exhibition was in November of 2012, and our new exhibition will be open from the 5th through the 27th of November 2014. It will comprise of 27 porcelain vessels and bowls, and will highlight Flynn’s movement to new forms and glazes.

“The best of handmade pots are kinetic, they move as the eye explores line and silhouette and Flynn’s are no exception, indeed great exemplars.”—Garth Clark, Chief Editor of CFile.

Flynn attended the Crawford College of Art and Design in Cork, where she trained in ceramic design. In her final year of study, she began experimenting with porcelain, which she has worked with exclusively since having established her own studio in Kinsale in 2000, and then in Leap, West Cork in 2006. As of 2013, Flynn has lived and worked in Belfast.

The exhibition will be fully illustrated on our website on the day it opens and will be viewable from Monday through Saturday, 10:00 - 18:00 and free to attend.
