The course will involve you writing, rewriting. practical exercises, analysis, advice, and reading scripts.

You will be guided throughout this course to write a short stage script that could be produced.

Simon is a dramaturge, writer and director and will look at the process of page to stage.

Simon was awarded the Pearson Bursary prize for 2010. He has had commissions from Theatre Clywd, Soho Theatre and Royal National Theatre Connections. He is also a Theatre Director and Film Maker.

He has taught playwriting for the past eight years at The Royal Court Theatre, worked with older writers at the Arcola Theatre, devised scripts with groups at The Bush Theatre and is currently teaching at Brunel University.
