“The Stage Hands” is a brand new play written and produced by RJC Productions, a partnership made up of two sisters. Having already been working together producing original musicals and plays for a number of years, this will be the sisters' debut production in London.

The show is a comedy about a play within a play, in which nearly everything imaginable goes wrong. Act 1 shows the ‘cast’ rehearsing for their opening night of a fictional play set in the 1950s called ‘Another Day in Paradise’. However, after a number of technical problems, the cast end up bickering with the stage hands and beginning to fall out.

In Act 2, we see the stage hands get their revenge, as they manipulate the set, lighting and sounds - and make one too many ‘mistakes’. Just when it seems the stage hands have run out of ways to ruin the show and baffle the audience, they decide to try their hands at acting too! The show must go on, but will the cast of ‘Another Day in Paradise’ be able to pull the plot back together?

'The Stage Hands' was work-shopped in Canterbury, Kent, and received glowing reviews from both the audience and the industry. RJC Productions strives to deliver the quality of the west end for fringe theatre prices. An ideal night out if you fancy something new and are in the mood for a real giggle.
