Cloud Dance Friends

Contemporary dance showcase Cloud Dance Festival lets down its hair for Cloud Dance Friends: a show which is part celebration of contemporary dance, part birthday bash, and part toast to Cloud Dance Festival's future.

We'll be showing new works by six of our favourite small-scale contemporary dance companies: a powerful solo by Birmingham-based Autin Dance Theatre, a beautiful group work by rising choreographer Gerrard Martin, a new duet by the forceful and entertaining personalities behind Hal Hub and work by Kimberley Harvey's integrated dance company Subtle Kraft Co. We'll also be presenting a striking solo by urban dance artist Kwame Asafo-Adjei of Spoken Movement, whose work has been featured by Breakin' Convention, and a new work by Steve Johnstone of Off The Map Company.
