UpStArt Art Exhibition

Come and view the best teen art talent selected by Saatchi Art, the RCA, Channel 4’s Jeff Salmon, Opera Gallery and more, as UpStArt showcases its finalists and offers you a chance to buy their work.

UpStArt is a new art competition for London’s sixthformers. The exhibition at The Strand Gallery showcases their 34 finalists, chosen by art experts and the public. Vote for your favourite and bid for pieces online at www.up-start.co.uk. Last bids 12pm December 3rd.

Rebecca Wilson, chief curator at Saatchi Art and one of the judges , says "Looking at the high standard of entries that have come in, the innovation and talent these young artists are showing is so exciting to see and bodes well for bright futures."

Art dealer Jeff Salmon (and presenter of Channel 4’s Four Rooms), will choose one of the three winners. He said: “I am truly impressed by the standard of entries from these young artists. As an art dealer, it is very exciting to see such obvious talent. Time will tell, but I think UpStArt may indeed have found some 'ones to watch'."
